Week 3 Reflection
This week went really fast. I am proud of myself for swimming and being a Councillor. We finished our mountain art and shared it at last weeks assembly, now it is up on the wall in my classroom. At the moment we are doing something called mapping my learning journey and I have got on to my good copy but haven't finished. On Wednesday we watched a video in room 6 with the rest of the team about drugs, alcohol and puberty. Then later in the day my class and I went into the mobile classroom with Nikki and learnt about the different types of drugs, what are drugs, the effects on the brain, peoples stories, the web of learning and loads of other things and at the very end we got to say hello to Harold. One of the things that I found interesting is that when you smoke a joint 50% stays in your body for 3-4 days and 10% stays in your body for 90 days (3 months). I also learnt that a joint is not just another word for cigarette it is when you smoke marijuana rolled up in paper and a tinnie is marijuana rolled up in tin foil and to get more money people add Methamphetamine to it (P).
